Fèis Ìle 2025 (Whisky Festival) fully booked. 

Guests have use of a kettle, large fridge - crockery and cutlery are also provided. Laundry, kitchen and lounge facilities are not available. 

Work and family life mean contact with guests is limited, however we are here to help should assistance be required.

Check in is from 3pm, check out is 10am. We operate self check in and self check out, guests are advised of lock box codes prior to arrival.

If bringing a car to the island a reservation with the ferry company CALMAC is essential. There are 2 ports on the island - Port Ellen and Port Askaig, please consult timetables then check availability before making a reservation. If you want to make a return booking arriving into and leaving from different ports you should select the “Multi Island” when booking.

Our location - we are in a quiet, rural area 2.5 miles from the nearest village Port Ellen where shops, the pub and restaurants are located. Please take this into consideration if you will be visiting the island without transport. The island bus service does not operate in the evenings or on a Sunday.

Islay is a popular destination and we recommend that distillery tours and tastings, restaurants and taxis (if required) are booked in advance. There is no taxi rank at the airport or ferry terminals.

Cancellation Policy.

Payment in full required to secure reservation.

Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival will receive a full refund, less a £10 administration fee. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days before arrival (including due to ferry or plane disruptions - weather or technical) 100% of booking will be retained unless we are able to re-let the room.  

We recommend travel insurance is obtained as travel to Islay is occasionally subject to delays and cancellations.
